Registration and Voting Information for Flint Students

Voting in a Primary in Flint?

You choose the candidates that will run on Election Day, February 27!

You must be registered to vote in order to vote in the primaries. Check your registration here.

If you are not registered, you can register to vote in Michigan in the following ways:

Online: Register on the Michigan Secretary of State’s website
(To register online, you will need a MI Driver’s License.)

On paper: Turn Up Turnout Flint registers students at various events on campus. Check out the TUT Instagram for where they’ll be next!

In-person: at your clerk's office. Find your clerk here.

(To register on paper or in person, you will need a MI Driver’s License, MI ID, or SSN to register.)

Voting in Michigan

  • You can vote absentee/by mail, at the polls on election day, or (NEW) at an Early Voting Site

  • Find your polling place or early voting center by looking up your voter information.
